FLOWER PRESERVATION SINCE 1997
ABOUT FOREVER FLOWERS

We've been creating memorable keepsakes since 1997 serving customers all over the US.

Our specialty is our years of experience in freeze dry preservation, our knowledge of the florist industry (we are also florists), and that we also have a custom framing business within our walls. This enables you to have endless choices in frame mouldings, backgrounds, window mat options, and glass options including Museum Glass. Let us turn your precious flowers into a timeless piece of art to cherish for years to come.

Whether you're a bride-to-be or you want a cherished item preserved beautifully for years to come, we can help.

PRICING...

Every keepsake we create is customized according to your choices.

Price will be determined by all of the following:

  • Glass choice; Conservation, Museum, Acrylic Bubble
  • Window mat border, fillet window mat, calligraphy on window mat
  • Background; standard cotton, suede, silk, or linen
  • Frame moulding
  • Size of keepsake

Because we cut all frames and build each shadowbox in our shop, the pricing is less than that of a company who purchases premade frames. The choices are also endless and we make any size you want. There is no extra charge for including items such as pictures, invitations, save-the-date, etc.

Average prices for a bridal keepsake can range from $325 to $440 for an average size bouquet. We have smaller keepsakes that will hold a portion of the flowers starting at $125 and up.

ASK US ABOUT ANY CURRENT DISCOUNTS... when frames are discontinued we are able to offer at 10% or more discount.

WHAT IS FREEZE-DRYING?

Freeze-drying requires usage of a specialized machine. The top chamber will hold approximately 30 bouquets.

When the flowers are placed in the machine the temperature is -30 degrees F. At this point, special loading skills are required to best position flowers before being frozen to avoid being frozen in a non-desirable shape. Physical placement in the machine (top, bottom, front, rear) is very important for certain flower types. Within a few hours the florals are solidly frozen.

The frozen moisture is extracted under vacume and can take up to 6 weeks in the cycle. Because we have multiple freeze-dry machines, your flowers will ALWAYS be placed directly in a freeze-dry machine, not a holding freezer which is meant for food.

Although most flowers do well in this process, it is best to ask us about your flowers. There are a few we do not suggest to use: bouvardia, asiatic lilies, daisies (Gerbera's are ok), lily of the valley, stock, phlox, and wildflower types. The c bouquets.

The color of a flower that has been freeze dried will never be the exact shade as when was fresh.  We use the most current pre and post treatments with UV to try to maintain color as close as possible. These treatments are VERY important for the longevity of the flower.  The post treatment seals the flower to avoid reabsorption of humidity into the petals.
