CARE OF YOUR FLOWERS BEFORE SHIPPING...

If the flowers are in a bouquet holder, there is a florist foam in the center that holds water. Hold the bouquet over a sink and pour water into the center of the bouquet.

If the flowers are arranged with real stems showing, trim the stems a half inch or so (under water) and place in a vase of water. You can remove any ribbon and send it along with the bouquet for the keepsake if desired.

The flowers should be kept cool, in a refrigerator if possible. Be careful not to let them freeze as sometimes happens when placed in the extreme rear of the refrigerator. Cover loosely with a plastic bag and place in the refrigerator (not freezer) until ready to ship.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAILING FLOWERS...

PACKAGING:
A good sturdy cardboard box is just fine. Package with popcorn, newspaper, or tissue but don't package too tightly which might damage the flowers.

If you have a disposable freezer pack (frozen), place it in the box with the flowers and secure it so it won't hit the flowers. Two ziploc plastic storage bags filled with water (frozen) would also work. Make sure to use two bags on each so the water does not leak.

Please be sure to enclose your name, address, and contact phone numbers.  If you would like us to confirm arrival of your flowers, please give the name and phone (or email) of the contact person.

Please enclose a check made out to Forever Flowers in the amount of $185.00 for deposit.  This will be applied towards your keepsake.  If you would like to use a credit card, please call us.  The framing can be chosen in the coming weeks.

SHIPPING:
Usually, the first shipping day after a Saturday event is Monday. On holiday weekends it would be Tuesday.

The flowers should be shipped on the last shipment out for the day. This would mean approximately 4pm to 6pm. Flowers are to be shipped overnight to arrive in the morning.

PLEASE CALL US TO LET US KNOW WHEN THE FLOWERS ARE SCHEDULED TO BE ARRIVING.  We would like to process the flowers immediately upon arrival.  We will also let you know if the flowers do not arrive at the scheduled time.
